Traditionally SMC History students outperform other schools on a national basis in the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate. 55 % of the Scoil Mhuire Leaving Certificate class of 2023 achieved H1 grades while 90% of the class achieved either a H1 or H2or H3 grade. Our 4th Year class consistently achieve top placings in local and national competitions. Over 75% of our Junior Cycle students achieve Distinctions or Higher Merits in the state exam.
